After giving birth to son Luai, Lindsay Lohan is embracing her postpartum figure and channeling Mean Girls for her new parenting approach.
On Wednesday, August 2, Lohan, 37, posted on Instagram to show her admiration for her body’s achievements during pregnancy and recovery. She wrote, “I am incredibly proud of what my body has achieved during this pregnancy and now during the recovery process,” next to a picture of her postpartum abdomen. I’ve never felt more delight than when I became a mommy!” Lohan provided a hilarious touch by saying that lately, postpartum underwear has been her go-to garment, adding ironically, “I’m not just a regular mom, I’m a postpartum mom.”
Fans of Lohan immediately picked up on her reference to Mean Girls, where she used the catchphrase “I’m not a regular mom, I’m a cool mom” uttered by Regina George’s mother. In the 2004 film, Lindsay Lohan portrayed Cady Heron.
“You look stunning as ever,” Jonathan Bennett, who portrayed Lohan’s love interest Aaron Samuels in the romantic comedy, said in response.
